The Wildwood High School girls basketball team broke open a close game at the half to post a 42-24 victory over Cape May Tech Wednesday.

Maddie McCracken tallied a game-high 17 points and Jenna Hans chipped in nine points for the Lady Warriors (9-4).

Wildwood jumped out to an 11-1 lead after one quarter but the Lady Hawks (1-12) rallied to get to within four at 15-11 at the half. Wildwood then started the second half on an 11-4 run and continued to pull away from there.

Alyssa Taylor scored 11 points for Cape May Tech.
