ERMA — The Ocean City High School girls lacrosse team clinched its second straight Cape-Atlantic League championship with a 15-2 win at Lower Cape May Tuesday afternoon.

The Raiders improved to 14-1 overall, 10-0 in CAL games, with one league game remaining against Absegami on Thursday. Mainland is just a game back of Ocean City in CAL play at 9-1, but Ocean City’s win over the Mustangs on April 27 gives the Raiders the tiebreaker.

Ocean City has won 22 straight games against CAL competition.

Anna Devlin, Ashley Devlin and Shannon O’Reilly each scored three goals for Ocean City in the win over Lower (8-8). Maya Critchfield scored twice in the loss.

Ocean City finishes its regular season with a non-league home game Saturday against Cherry Hill East. Lower Cape May hosts Oakcrest Thursday.
