By TOM WILLIAMS

A half-dozen Ocean City High School athletes will compete in three events on Saturday during the NJSIAA Meet of Champions at Northern Burlington Regional High School.

Sophia Gresham (above) qualified for the MOC by finishing fourth in the long jump at the South Jersey meet. She leaped 18 feet, 2 inches in that meet to better her own school record.

Matt Zelinski (above, with assistant coach Shawn Matthews) will run in the 400 meter hurdles. He finished fourth in the South Jersey Meet last weekend.

And the boys 4×800 relay team (above) will be in action. P.J. Short, Korey Greene, Luke Kramer and Jesse Schmeizer finished sixth in the sectional meet.

The MOC begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Northern Burlington with the top six from each sectional meet competing in each event. Northern Burlington is located at 160 Mansfield Road East in Columbus.
