Cape Express youth soccer scores

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth soccer teams:

GIRLS

U-9 Mayhem vs. Hammonton Heat: Kate Wheeler and Alex Grier both had goals for the Mayhem. Maggie King and Analeigh Shaw lead the defense. Casey Day and Avery Proud had great ball movement.
U-10 Cape Express Riptide vs. Monroe Township United: Emma Vince led the Riptide attack with an early goal, but despite constant pressure they could not capitalize again and fell to a tough Monroe Team.
U-11 Cape Express Sirens 3, TBAA Wild 0: Katelyn Walker netted all three goals for the Sirens. Additional pressure on the Wild’s goal was applied by Maggie Farrell and Ainsley Reed. The defense, led by center back Ella Harkins, Riley Odom, and Riley Deignan, helped Isabel Miller and Olive Cray keep a clean sheet.
U-13 Cape Express Blue Crush 6, EP Strykers 3: Game 1 of back-to-back games saw the Blue Crush defenders Ashley Seigel and Kristen Neuman play outstanding against the Strykers. For the second week in a row Chloe Frame came up with another hat trick. Jada Smith and Maggie Davenport each had goals as well. Fiona Gale was outstanding in the net, as was Brianna Ortiz.

U13 Cape Express Blue Crush 3, EP Strykers 2: Game 2 looked to be a reversal of Game 1 as Cape started slow and went down by two goals in the first half.  Chloe Frame came alive late in the second half to put one in the net. Maggie Davenport delivered the second goal to tie things up. Olivia Harkins and Gabby Braun kept the pressure on with several shots on goal. Chloe’s shot off the post came right back and shot again and connected for the game winner. Grace Metz made several late game saves in net to hold on for the win.
