Middle Township High School senior football players and cheerleaders visited the Crest Haven nursing home Wednesday afternoon to visit with the elderly residents of the facility. The players and cheerleaders brought small gifts and spent time with the residents ahead of the football team’s annual rivalry game with Lower Cape May on Thanksgiving morning.
“A lot of the people there don’t have anyone to visit with them for Thanksgiving,” Middle football coach Frank Riggitano said earlier this week. “We thought this would be a nice thing for the kids to do.”
