Cape Express youth soccer scores

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth soccer teams:

GIRLS

U11 Cape Express Riptide 3, Mount Laurel 2: After keeping their opponent on their heels for most the first half, it was MLU to put the first point on the board. This ignited the Riptide offense, which put up goals by Allie Walker, Emma Vince and Parker Milstead before the half was out. The second half was a battle with MLU putting up one more on a well played corner kick but the Riptide defense held tough for the victory.

U12 North Burlington 2, Cape Express Sirens 1: North Burlington started out strong and put the Sirens on their heels. Cape settled down with strong play on defense by Riley Odom, Ella, Harkins and Riley Deignan helping Goalie Sophia Smith end the half tied at 0.  Midway through the second half the Sirens earned a free kick from 20 yards out, which Smith put over the wall and into the net to give them the lead.  Two late penalties outside their own box led to goals by North Burlington to give them the win.

U14 Cape Express Blue Crush 5, Marlton 0: Aaliyah Hill helped transition the ball through the midfield with striker Hannah Morales keeping Marlton’s back line on their toes. Gabby Braun, Grace Metz, and Kierstyn Neuman’s efforts led to the goals scored by Alivia Adams (2), Raegan Germanio, Isabella Arbelo Miranda and Chloe Frame.
