VIDEO, PHOTO GALERY: Hinker, Melli lead LCM past Wildwood Catholic

WILDWOOD CREST — Zeb Hinker and Justin Melli were each part of four first-place finishes to lead the Lower Cape May Regional High School swimming team to a 102-68 victory over Wildwood Catholic in a coed meet Tuesday.

Hinker claimed first place in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly and Melli was first in the 50 and 100 freestyle races.

Hinker and Melli were also part of two first-place relay teams. They joined with Mark Ryan and Matt Eck for first in the 200 medley relay and with Ryan and Max Souder for a win in the 200 freestyle relay.

Ryan also won an individual event for Lower, placing first in the 100 breaststroke.

James Sawyer (500 freestyle) and Julia Sorensen (100 backstroke) won events to lead Wildwood Catholic. 

Sawyer was also part of the winning 400 freestyle relay along with Grace Stuart, Camryn Diller and Leilani Wong.
