ERMA – The defending Cape-Atlantic National Conference co-champion Ocean City High School boys soccer team got its season off to a flying start Thursday afternoon.

The Raiders exhibited their tremendous offensive depth by getting goals from six different players in a 6-3 win over Cape May County rival Lower Cape May.

Trevor Paone, Reed Lindsay and Jadin Eafrate each netted goals in the opening 40 minutes as the Raiders race to a 3-0 lead at the interval.

Luke Varallo upped Ocean City’s lead to 4-0 shortly after halftime. Patrick Moore struck from distance shortly thereafter to put the Tigers on the board.

Ocean City put the game out of reach through goals a minute apart by Billy Farnan and Adam King.

Dan Cristelo and Moore added goals for Lower in the final seven minutes.

Josiah Nistorenko had two assists for Ocean City.
