TANNER JAMES

Tanner James, a junior on the Ocean City High School diving team, is the CoastSportsToday.com Athlete of the Week for the week ending Saturday, Dec. 16. James broke a 27-year-old school record in a six-dive competition when he scored 190.45 to win the Cape-Atlantic League batch meet at Vineland last Tuesday. The previous OCHS record score of 178.0 was set by Wynne Watson in 1990. James set the OCHS record in 11-dive competitions last season as a sophomore. He was third at last season’s CAL diving championships.
