ALL STAR SATURDAY: Jazzy Duverglas leads Team Betson to victory

OCEAN CITY- Team Betson used a balance attack and a good inside effort by MVP Jazzy Duverglas to defeat Team, Baruffi, 48-42, in the Wonderland Pier Girls Classic during the 17^th annual All Star Saturday.

The Cedar Creek star had quite a day. In addition to her MVP award, Duverglas won the girls three-point shootout and then also won the three-point showdown against the boys champion. She scored eight points for Team Betson.

Francesca Geromini scored 11 for Team Betson with Sarah Tomasello of Cedar Creek and Kadinah Harris-Hood of Atlantic City each adding nine. Team Betson was coached by Mainland’s Scott Betson, Atlantic City’s Jason Lantz and Jackie Siscone of Holy Spirit.

Alexis Harrison of Millville led Team Baruffi with 14 points and Ocean City’s Kilie Wyers added 10. Team Baruffi was coached by Ocean City’s Paul Baruffi and Jason Kessler of Millville.
