St. Joseph junior Jada Byers might have experienced his first loss since his freshmen year on Saturday but he still dominates scoring among football players at Cape-Atlantic League schools.

He has scored 112 points, more than double the points scored by the player in second place – Mohamad Toure of Pleasantville. Byers also leads in defensive touchdowns and two-point conversions. He has scored 314 career points.

Ian Aungst of Ocean City had his fourth straight 100+ passing game over the weekend and tied Ryan Yost of Holy Spirit for the CAL lead in TD passes.

Brandon Lashley caught one of Aungst’s scoring passes on Friday to take the lead in receiving touchdowns.

Sean Carey of Mainland continues to lead CAL kickers with 25 points and kicked his fourth field goal.
