Latest Cape Express youth soccer scores

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth girls soccer teams:

U-8 Cape Express Galaxy at Monroe Twp United: The Galaxy headed to Williamstown Saturday, and got the redemption they were looking for against the Monroe Towship United. Tenley VanArstdalen and Fiona Hardin played beast in goal. Madeline Burns, Whitney Macrina and Maggie Staino brought the attack. While Sofia Alegre, Peyton Bernacki and Ali Stone showed off their passing skills.

U-9 Cape Express Mayhem vs. Mainland Mustangs: Libby Lloyd and Ana Broughton played solid in goal. Alex Grier got a goal with an assist from Abbie Verity as the Mayhem battled Mainland.

U-11 Cape Express Sirens vs. Pemberton Crush: Izzy Miller and Meredith Lutjen played amazing in goal, shutting out Pemberton for an entire game, plus two overtime periods.The South Jersey Cup Semifinals game went to PKs for the decision. Gabby Oliver and Julia Deignan buried their chances but the Sirens came up just short to a tough Pemberton team.

U-13 Cape Express White 1, Southern Chester County 0: The 06 Whites moved well off the ball well and connected  many passes. Kate Grier, Nola Quinn and Reagan Gittle took many shots but did not find the back of the net, leading to a scoreless halftime tie. In the second half, Keily Sanchez scored off of a penalty kick for the go-ahead goal.  The defensive line shut SCC down, not letting anything by.

U-13 Cape Express White 5, EGSA United 3: Cape started off the game strong leading 1-0 with a goal from Reagan Gittle. They kept the shots coming with Reagan scoring another. Keily Sanchez and Julia Calderon added goals in the first half closing it out 4-0. Aspen Southard started the second half strong coring the fifth goal.

U-15 Cape Express Fusion 1, Deptford Premier 2: After giving up an early free kick goal under the lights for a home night game, the Fusion settled down and played a strong game to open the State Cup. There were numerous scoring chances for Cape but they couldn’t finish, until Carly Gallagher connected with a cross inside the box to even the score. The game was well played on both sides of the ball, but Deptford was able to take advantage of a small opening to put in their second goal. Delaney Robb played extremely well in goal.
