CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township High School boys tennis team scored a 4-1 decision over county rival Lower Cape May Thursday in a Cape-Atlantic National Conference match.
Middle swept all three singles slots and also won at second doubles. In singles, Max Gilbert (first), Nick Gibboni (second) and Justin Price (third) each won in straight sets. Middle’s second doubles team of Matt Tzorfas and Colby Watts also won in straight sets.
Lower got its points from its first doubles team of Jared Lepor and Evan Warburton. They won 10-7 in a super tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets, 5-7, 7-6 (7-5).
Middle (4-2) went on to beat Oakcrest on Friday, 5-0.
