CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — T.J. Shoffler had himself a game Wednesday afternoon.

The junior second baseman belted five hits to power the Lower Cape May Regional High School baseball team to a 20-10 victory over Cape May Tech in a marathon game that took approximately three hours to complete.

Shoffler went 5 for 6 with two doubles, four runs scored and five RBI in the victory. Kenny Haungs added four hits in six at bats and added three runs scored and two RBI, Paul Gilbert went 3 for 4 with two RBI and Ben Morris singled, doubled and drove in three runs for the Caper Tigers (1-1).

Haungs was also the winning pitcher, allowing just one run in three innings of relief pitching.

For Cape May Tech (2-1), Joel Sheptock had three hits and and an RBI; Mike Brown singled, tripled and had two RBI; and Anthony Paluch and Zach Power each added two hits.
