The Lower Cape May Regional High School boys lacrosse team dropped a 14-7 decision to Mainland Monday afternoon at Frank Simonsen Field.

Chuckie Magill, Gavin Staley and Nico Castellano each scored two goals and Branden Smith added a goal for Lower Cape May (10-4). Cameron Leslie made seven saves in goal.

Colin Cooke scored six goals to lead Mainland (9-5).

The game was played as part of Lower Cape May’s “Salute to Service Day.” Active and veteran members of the military were honored at all home athletic contests.
