Cape Express youth soccer scores

U8 Cape Express Wave at TBAA: Noelle Frame had multiple chances on goal along with Isabella Davis.  Lily Vince, Julianna Blomstrom and Adeline Yerk stood solid at defense. Overall it was an outstanding effort by all of the girls.

U9 Cape Express Galaxy vs. Monroe Twp. United: Despite being short-handed the Galaxy kept Monroe off the score sheet. Maggie Staino and Whitney Macrina kept great possession of the ball and found Madeline Burns and Sofia Alegre who put the ball into the back of the net. Fiona Hardin and Nora Cray combined for the clean sheet in goal.

U11 Highlands 3, Cape Express Riptide 1: Parker Milstead netted Cape’s only goal in the third minute off a corner by Emma Vince.

U12 Mount Laurel 1, Cape Express Sirens 0: The Sirens dominated possession against Mount Laurel but could not come away with the win. Sophia Smith, Aubrey Walters, and Ella Harkins all had terrific shots on net that couldn’t find their way in. Great play in the back by Riley Odom and Olive Cray kept the ball in Mount Laurel’s end for most of the game.

U14 Blue Crush 4, West Deptford Savages 0: Cape took the lead early when Avaclaire Scales scored off an assist from Chloe Frame. Alivia Adams scored with a beautiful goal a few minutes into the second half. Ashley Seigel, Raegan Germanio, Aryella Hill, and Gabby Braun did a great job in defense holding Deptford back.  Jada Smith took advantage of a penalty kick with an amazing shot to the corner of the net. With a few minutes remaining Grace Metz finished up with the fourth goal.  Fiona Gale and Hannah Morales did an outstanding job defending goal to keep Deptford scoreless.
