Tori Rolls (freshman-Montclair State) was named New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the week today. Rolls registered a hat trick in MSU’s 3-0 win over Rutgers-Newark on Friday. She helped the Red Hawks remain unbeaten in NJAC play and now has a team-high four goals on the year. Rolls leads the NJAC with 10 points (4 goals, 2 assists) in conference play. Montclair State (7-4-2) returns home on Saturday with a 1 pm game against Ramapo The Red Hawks come to Stockton on Oct. 19.

Andrew Donoghue (junior-College of New Jersey) passed for one touchdown and raced into the end zone for the other as TCNJ knocked off William Peterson, 17-14, on the road for its first win in its NJAC debut. Donoghue completed 18 passes for 181 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown pass. He ran in from four yards out for the deciding score. Donoghue has more than 1,750 career passing yards at TCNJ. The Lions (1-3) host Montclair State on Saturday.

Haleigh Flukey (sophomore-Fairleigh Dickinson) won the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Offensive Player of the Week award and was named the ECAC Division III North Region Offensive Player of the Month. Flukey scored four goals last week for FDU-Florham. She contributed a goal in the Devils’ 2-1 win over No. 16 Montclair State University. Then she put away three goals — including the overtime-game winner — in FDU’s 5-4 conference win over DeSales University. During September, Flukey scored 16 goals and recorded 33 points. FDU (10-2) hosts Wilkes University on Friday night.

Korey Greene (sophomore-Rowan) finished fourth to help the Profs win the Bill Fritz Invitational at Gloucester County Dream Park. Greene, a scholar-athlete at Rowan, also finished in the top third of the open race in the Paul Short run at Lehigh that featured more than 600 runners from all NCAA divisions. Rowan will host the Inter-Regional Border Battle on Oct. 19 that features multiple teams from surrounding states.
