Middle’s Giulian, Killian win wrestling titles

Middle Township High School’s David Giulian and Alick Killian each won championships at the George Maier Tournament at Haddon Heights on Saturday.

Giulian, at 182 pounds, and Killian, at 132 pounds, each won all four of their bouts en route to their championships.

Giulian won his championship bout via a 10-5 decision, while Killian won his title bout by a 6-5 decision.

Karl Giulian, David’s older brother, also reached the finals at 170 pounds but withdrew prior to the championship bout due to a minor injury.

Evan Dugan (126), Cole Miller (145), Mike Adelizzi (152) and Matt Frame (160) each placed fourth for Middle.

Middle is next in action on Saturday at the Palmyra Christmas Tournament, an event the Panthers have won each of the last two seasons.
