JORDAN HALL

Cape May County native Jordan Hall has gotten his college basketball career off to a good start.

A 6-7 freshman guard/forward for St. Joseph’s University, Hall was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday after averaging 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists over a two-game stretch last week.

Hall scored nine points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished five assists in the Hawks’ 83-57 loss to St. Bonaventure before posting 13 points, four rebounds and nine assists in the team’s first victory of the season, a 67-64 decision over Albany on Saturday.

For the season, Hall is averaging 7.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and a team-best 5.4 assists per game. He also leads the team in steals with nine. He has played in all nine of the team’s games, with eight starts.

St. Joseph’s is 1-8 overall, 0-3 in Atlantic 10 play.

Hall played grammar school basketball at Margaret Mace Elementary in North Wildwood and played his freshman high school season at Middle Township before leaving for the Philadelphia Catholic League. He helped Neumann-Goretti win the PCL championship as a senior in 2020.
