Maddie Schiffbauer of Lower Cape May Regional High School is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.
A junior attacker on the girls lacrosse team, Schiffbauer scored the winning goal in Monday’s 13-12 win over rival Middle Township, completing a comeback from a deficit as high as six goals. Schiffbauer scored three goals in the victory, helping Lower improve to 3-1 on the season.
Schiffbauer has scored seven goals and leads the Lady Tigers in draw controls through four games.
Schiffbauer is also a standout field hockey player at Lower Cape May.
