CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township High School boys lacrosse team used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from Absegami for a 14-6 victory Friday afternoon.

Leading 9-6, Middle finished the game with five straight goals to take control of the contest.

Matt Frame scored six goals to lead the Panthers (4-11), who won their second strraight game. Travis McCray, Greg Hrynowski, Brett Nabb each added two goals and two assists. Landon Osmunden chipped in with two goals and an assist and Tom Shagren chipped in with three assists. Isaih Carr-wing led with eight ground balls.

Brandon Rosensteel was excellent in goal, making 16 saves against just six goals conceded.

Middle is next in action Monday against Woodstown before taking on rival Lower Cape May on Tuesday.
