CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Cape May Tech baseball team rallied for a win over its biggest rival Monday evening.

On a perfect weather day for baseball, the Hawks came back from a 3-0 deficit after three innings to post a 6-3 victory over Middle Township in a game played under the lights at Chuck Dougherty Field.

Ron Neenhold went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI and Donny Seitz had a two-run single to highlight the Cape May Tech offense. Tyler McDaniel added a hit and two runs scored.

Tanner Oliva was the winning pitcher. He conceded all three runs in the third inning but otherwise went unblemished, scattering five hits in 5 1/3 innings pitched. Nate Archbold got the final five outs for the save.

Cape May Tech (7-6) won for the fifth time in its last six games.

Ben Harris had three hits and Mike Adelizzi had an RBI hit for Middle. But the Panthers also left numerous runners on base throughout, failing to capitalize enough on nine walks and one hit batter by Cape May Tech pitchers.

Middle (4-11) has lost nine of its last 10 games.
