Ty Bonner of the Lower Cape May Regional High School boys basketball team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week.
A freshman on the boys basketball team, Bonner scored 10 points in his first high school game to help Lower Cape May to a 53-52 comeback victory over St. Joseph in the team’s season opener last weekend. Two of his points came on a pair of critical free throws in the final minute.
Bonner then scored five points to help Lower Cape May to a 50-42 victory over Wildwood Catholic on Wednesday, again making a pair of important foul shots in the final minute.
