CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — Mainland goalkeeper Ciara Reeves made a critical save with 10 seconds to play as the Mustangs held off Middle Township in a back-and-forth Cape-Atlantic League girls lacrosse game Wednesday.

Reeves’ save came after a violation gave Middle a restart to the right of goal and preserved a 16-15 win. Middle fell to 9-3 with the loss.

Kira Sides posted six goals and three assists and Maddie Barber had six goals and one helper to lead Middle. Aubrey Hunter also scored three times.

Megan McIntyre-Bozzi scored six goals to lead Mainland (8-3).
