VIDEO: Middle takes coed meet over Wildwood Catholic

WILDWOOD CREST – The Middle Township High School swimming team won all but one event on its way to a 123-40 victory over Wildwood Catholic in a coed meet at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool Tuesday.

Isquian Ruiz and Jake Frie led the Panthers to the victory. They each won one individual event and both were part of two first-place relay teams. Ruiz was first in the 200 individual medley and Frie won the 100 freestyle.

Other individual winners for Middle included Chase McCray (50 free), Brayden Acevedo (100 fly), Mac Campbell (500 free), Justin Wen (100 breaststroke) and Philip Woodrow (100 backstroke).

L.L. Belasco picked up Wildwood Catholic’s lone first-place finish, winning the 200 freestyle.
