VIDEO: Middle falls in close playoff meet

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Sophia Braun was part of three first-place finishes but the Middle Township High School girls swimming team lost a close South Jersey Group C playoff meet to Haddon Township, 89-80, Monday afternoon.

Braun teamed with Sarina Wen, Natali Ilieva and Abby Ridgway to win the 200 free relay. Braun also was first in the 50 and 100 freestyle races.

Wen (100 butterfly) and Sofia Jurusz (500 freestyle) each won individual races for Middle.

Middle finished its dual meet season at 3-6.
