Wildwood Crest grammar school summer hoops champs

The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department recently held championship games for its two grammar school basketball summer leagues. The following are the results:

GRADES 3-5 – Adventurer Oceanfront Inn 43, Hot Sot IV 40: Ty Bonner netted 15 points and Trevor Troiano added 11 points for the winners. Stephen Kmetz (17) and Nathan Dwornik (16) led Hot Spot IV.

GRADES 6-8 – Cone Crazy 42, Dogtooth Bar & Grill 39: Jacob Bey pumped in 23 points and Macky Bonner and Aydan Howell each added six points for Cone Crazy. Archie Lawler scored a game-high 30 points and Manny Weaver added seven points in the loss.
