Cape Express youth soccer results

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth soccer teams:

BOYS

U-13 Vipers 3, Delran Celtic 1: Alex Avila scored two goals and Deron Azille scored a goal for Cape. Eddie Hirsch and Kaleb Williams each had an assist. Joe Berrodin, Colon Jastremski and Simon Hardin worked together at midfield moving the ball up the field.  Justen Wen and Michael Kosmin provided the pressure offensively. Cape’s defense was anchored by Jack Reischke and Chase Adams. Brandyn Acevedo held strong in net for the win.

U-11 Moorestown 3, Breakers 1: Moorestown got on the board first, but Lucas Scheeler responded with a right footed blast from outside the 18.  Midfielder Joey Raab drove the ball down the right side and placed a perfect cross which just missed being put in the goal.  Defense was held down by Aaron Hernandez and Sammy Casterline.  Goalie Evan Landis played strong in both halves.

U-9 Blue Crush vs. Collingswood Galaxy: Andrew Catanoso scored twice off of assists by Keaton Kuhlberg and Evan Ridgeway. Joey McCarraher was all over the defense trying to score on all loose balls. The defense had a good day, shored up by Landon Tozour, Ben Bond and Chris Katz.  Alex Harrell was all over in net, stopping almost everything that came his way.

GIRLS

U-15 Fusion 3, Mainland United 1: Evan Dimitrov scored twice, Cassidy Robb added a goal and Ava Southard provided an assist for the Fusion. Kiki Soto was outstanding in net.

U-13 Blue Crush 5. Pitman Lady Tigers 0: Chloe Frame posted a hat trick and Liv Harkins and Alivia Adams each added a goal for the Blue Crush. Jada Smith had an assist. Kierstyn Neuman was outstanding on defense and Fiona Gale and Grace Metz in goal kept the Lady Tigers scoreless.

U-11 Sirens 4, West Deptford Fierce 2: Ainsley Reed scored three goals and Gabby Oliver added another for the Sirens in the South Jersey Cup game. Meredith Lutjen chipped in an assist. Isabel Miller and Sophia Smith shared goaltending duties.
