Middle Township’s Sophia Bosacco 

Sophia Bosacco, a junior on the Middle Township High School girls swimming team, is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Athlete of the Week. Bosacco was part of four first-place finishes in a season-opening win 110-60 over Wildwood Catholic in a coed meet and in a 114-56 victory over Cedar Creek. In the meet against Cedar Creek, Bosacco broke her own school record in the 500 freestyle by more than four seconds, posting a time of 5:48.21.
