Chloe Byrne, a sophomore at Middle Township High School, is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Athlete of the Week. Byrne won gold medals in the 50- and 100-meter dashes and was a silver medalist in the 4×100 relay at the Area 8 Special Olympics sectional track meet at Stockton University last weekend. Through her strong performances, Byrne has qualified for the Special Olympics New Jersey State Summer Games scheduled for June 7-9 at The College of New Jersey. Byrne is also a member of the Middle Township High School cheerleading team and dance squad.
