Matthew Craig of the Lower Cape May Regional High School wrestling team is the latest CoastSportsToday Male Athlete of the Week.
A junior heavyweight, Craig posted a victory by fall by pinning his opponent in the third period to help Lower to a 39-27 victory over Oakcrest in a state playoff match. Craig competed despite missing recent matches and practices due to illness.
Craig improved his personal record to 22-7 for the season with his win.
