Local youth baseball team wins fall tournament

The Lower Cape May Nor’Easters 12U baseball team won the championship at the Legends of Tomorrow tournament hosted by the South Jersey Braves in Williamstown. The Nor’Easters won all four of their games in the tournament, including a 12-2 victory in the championship game.

The Nor’Easters are made up of players from Lower Township, Cape May, Wildwood Crest and Middle Township and are coached by Brian Heacock.
