CoastSportsToday Male Athlete of the Week: Dom Caraballo, Middle Township

Dom Caraballo of Middle Township High School is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the football team, Caraballo ran for a 10-yard touchdown, returned an interception 13 yards for another touchdown and also intercepted a second pass to help the Panthers to a 28-7 victory over Lower Cape May in the Anchor Bowl on Thanksgiving Eve.

Caraballo produced his two interceptions and two touchdowns after being unable to handle the football for five games due to a cast on his wrist to protect a broken thumb suffered early in the season. Caraballo had the cast removed a few days prior to the Anchor Bowl.

Caraballo amassed 42 yards on just five carries in the contest.

Caraballo is also a basketball player at Middle Township.
