The following are results from best-of-three championship series in the Cape May County youth hockey league:
GRADES 2-4 (Street)
Game 1 – Upper Township Black 2, Middle Township 0: Joseph Walker scored twice and Andrew Pashley posted the shutout in goal for the winners.
Game 2 – Upper Township Black 2, Middle Township 1: Joseph Walker’s overtime goal, his second of the game, won it and clinched the title for Upper Black.
GRADES 5-8 (Street)
Game 1 – Greater Wildwood Jaycees 5, Friends of Beast North Wildwood 2: Ryan McGrath, Bohdan Osadchuk, Cade Vogdes, Chase Critchfield and Vinni Sweeney each scored for the winners. Gavin Burns scored twice in the loss.
Game 2 – Friends of Beast North Wildwood 4, Greater Wildwood Jaycees 1: R.J. Blanda tallied twice and Logan Veras and Gavin Burns each added a goal in the win. Kelan Miller scored for Jaycees.
Game 3 – Greater Wildwood Jaycees 3, Friends of Beast North Wildwood 0: Joey Tenaglia recorded the shutout in goal and Cade Vogdes, Ryan McGrath and Vinni Sweeney each scored as Jaycees clinched the title.
GRADES 5-8 (Roller)
Game 1 – Middle Township Orange 3, Upper Township Black 2: Jacob Rossi-Friend’s overtime goal won it for Middle Orange, who got goals in regulation from Connor Thompson and Max Campbell. Joshua Pashley and Allen Foster each scored in the loss.
Game 2 – Middle Township Orange 1, Upper Township Black 0: Patrick Kelly scored and Logan Leith had the shutout in goal as Middle Orange clinched the championship.
HIGH SCHOOL (Roller)
Game 1 – Middle Township 3, Upper Township Black 2: Owen Hall, Corbin Stehman and Aidan Guida each scored for Middle. Dennis Shiffler and Zachary Linz had the goals for Upper.
Game 2 – Upper Township Black 7, Middle Township 0: Jake Stryker tallied a hat trick, Zachary Linz scored twice and Connor Meehan and Dennis Shiffler chipped in a goal apiece for Upper.
Game 3 – Upper Township Black 9, Middle Township 1: Dennis Shiffler scored four goals to lead Upper Black to the decisive Game 3 victory. Jake Stryker added a hat trick and Zachary Linz and Connor Meehan also each scored a goal. Owen Hall scored Middle’s goal.
