Championships decided in Dennis Township Recreation youth hoops

Sturdy Savings Bank Blue won the championship at the grades 3-4 level in the Dennis Township Recreation winter youth basketball league. The following are results from championship games in the Dennis Township Recreation youth basketball league:

GRADES 3-4

Sturdy Savings Bank Blue 26, Sturdy Savings Bank White 13: Travis DeHainut posted 11 points and Tristan Blakeslee chipped in seven points for Blue. Noah Wallash, Brain Champion and Troy Katz each scored four points in the loss.

GRADES 5-6

Cape Insulation 42, First Bank of Sea Isle City 21: Dante Duca (15) and Lea Kern (12) each scored in double figures for the winners. Allison Nagle sank 10 points and Asher Thomas contributed seven points in the loss.

GRADES 7-8

Ocean View Resort 37, First Bank of Sea Isle City 32: Jake Frie’s 17 points and Jimmy Richie’s eight points carried Ocean View Resort to the win. Kyle Pettit led all scorers with 19 points and Isabelle Toland added six points for First Bank.
