Maddie Schiffbauer of the Lower Cape May Regional High School field hockey team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.
A senior for the Lady Tigers, Schiffbauer has scored seven goals over her last three goals to help Lower Cape May to a three-game winning streak. She tallied four times in a 5-0 win over Mainland, twice in a 3-2 victory over rival Middle Township and once in a 3-1 result over Oakcrest.
Schiffbauer enters this week leading Lower Cape May (7-2) in goals with 11 through nine games.
