ERMA — The Lower Cape May Regional High School boys soccer team didn’t need much time to take control of Thursday evening’s game against Wildwood Catholic.

The Caper Tigers scored three times in the first 12 1/2 minutes and eventually rolled to a 7-0 victory over the Crusaders.

Troy Genaro scored the opening two goals for Lower Cape May (6-3-2) and finished with a hat trick. Miguel Valencia, Taj Turner, Deron Azile and Andrew Weber also scored for Lower.

Anderson Ryan posted the shutout in goal.
