CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week – Sophia Braun

Sophia Braun of the Middle Township High School girls swimming team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.

A senior, Braun is one of the Cape-Atlantic League top sprint freestyle swimmers. She won the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle races and was also part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team in Middle’s close playoff loss to Haddon Township earlier this week. She won the 50 freestyle in a recent meet against Ocean City and was part of four first-place finishes in a victory over Absegami on Jan. 21, placing first in the 50 and 100 freestyle races.

Braun has also been member of the field hockey team at Middle Township.
