Brandyn Acevedo of Middle Township High School is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week.
A sophomore on the swimming team, Acevedo recently broke a pair of school records in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. He also holds the school record in the 100 butterfly.
Acevedo took part in the Cape-Atlantic League championship meet late last week, competing in the 200 individual medley and 100 freestyle.
