Cape Express youth soccer scores

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth soccer teams:

GIRLS

U14 Cape Express Sirens 2, TBAA 1: Katie Sharp and Sophia Smith each scored goals and Izzy Miller added an assist on Smith’s goal with a beautiful crossing pass for the Sirens. Julia Deignan and Riley Deignan helped keep pressure on TBAA’s defense. Miller and Meredith Lutjen combined for the win in goal.

U12 Cape Express Mayhem 7, Medford 1: A potent offense of Aubrey Bradway, Abby Verity, Madelyn Burns and Sophia Alegre put Medford in the hole early. The midfield was controlled by Charlotte Kosmin and Avery Proud, who moved the ball around and set up attacks. Goalkeeper Maggie Staino made some great saves to keep Medford’s attack under control.

U9 Cape Express Rage vs. Haddon Heights: Genna Young led the Rage with two goals and all-around excellent play. Jaci Adams and Mia Bradway also each added goals. The stout defense was led by Natalie Huen and Jessica Alegre. Honorable mention to Adriana Ficca, Abigail Reeves and Mia Bradway.

BOYS

U12 Cape Express Blue Crush 4, Haddonfield 3: Kaspar Sypalis scored the game-winner early in the second half for the Blue Crush after the teams played to a 3-3 draw in the first half.
