CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week: Anthony Gentile, LCMR

Anthony Gentile of the Lower Cape May Regional High School boys track team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior sprinter, Gentile has broken three separate program records for the Caper Tigers over the past couple of weeks. He set a new record of 10.7 seconds in the 100-meter dash at a meet at Middle Township and also set a new record time of 22.71 seconds in the 200-meter race at the Delsea Elite meet. Last week, Gentile was also part of the 4×400-meter relay team that set a new record time of 3:36 in a meet against Cedar Creek. Gentile’s teammates on the relay team are Devon Figueroa, Zeb Hinker and Elijah Jackson.
