CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township High School boys soccer team and its star player continued their fine form on Friday against a local rival.
Senior Steve Berrodin recorded a hat trick, with his final goal representing the 50th of his career, as Middle rolled to an 8-0 win over Wildwood Catholic. Berrodin scored all of his goals in the opening half.
Berrodin became the ninth player in program history to score at least 50 career goals.
Eddie Hirsch, Landon Osmundsen, Drew Nelson, Simon Hardin and Tommy Shagren also each scored goals for Middle, which moved to 12-0. Devon Bock and Miles Stafford combined for the shutout in goal.
