Caleb Fields (graduate student-Fairfield basketball-WCA) scored a game-high 21 points to pace the Stags to a 63-56 win over Evansville Sunday. Through seven games, Fields leads the team in scoring at 14.6 points per game. He’s also averaging 3.7 rebounds and is tops on the team in total assists with 15 and steals with seven. Fields first played college basketball at Bowling Green before transferring to Fairfield after graduating in May. Fairfield (2-5 overall) plays its first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game Thursday at Manhattan. …

Jahlil White (sophomore-Temple basketball-WCA) started the first five games for Owls before missing the team’s two most recent contests due to a hand injury. He’s averaging 1.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks and is considered one of Temple’s best defensive players. The Owls (3-4) next play Wednesday vs. LaSalle at the Palestra. …

Imene Fathi (freshman-Stockton basketball-WHS) has started all six games for the Ospreys so far this season. She’s averaging 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Fathi posted a season-best 11 points in the team’s most recent game, a 52-35 victory over Gallaudet on Saturday. Teammate Brianna Robinson (freshman-Stockton basketball-MTHS) has seen action in five games and is averaging 1.2 points. Stockton (5-1 overall, 0-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference) is next in action on Wednesday at home against Rutgers-Camden. …

LINDSAY ROBBINS

Lindsay Robbins (sophomore-Millersville swimming-CMTHS) swam the 50 freestyle in a season-best 25.96 seconds at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational earlier this month. Millersville finished sixth out of 10 teams at the meet. …

Cameron Leslie (sophomore-Kings College wrestling-LCMR) went 1-1 on the day while competing at 149 pounds at the Keystone Pool Tournament on Nov. 19. He won one of three matches at the Racich Rumble on Nov. 12. Kings is next in action this weekend at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational. …

Jake McGonigle (junior-Holy Family basketball-WCA) has started all seven games so far at point guard for the Division II Tigers. He’s averaging 2.6 points, is second on the team in total assists with 13 and is tied for second on the team in total steals with seven. Holy Family (6-1) is scheduled to play its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Wednesday at Georgian Court. …

Pat Holden (graduate student-Widener basketball-LCMR) posted 13 points, five rebounds and two assists for the Pride in a 92-55 win over Rosemont on Monday. Holden has started five of six games, missing one due to injury, and is second on the team in scoring at 11.4 points per game. …

KYION FLANDERS

Kyion Flanders (senior-Stockton basketball-WHS) and Martin Anguelov (sophomore-Stockton basketball-WCA) have been two main contributors for the Ospreys so far this season. Flanders, the reigning New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, is third on the team in scoring at 12.8 points per game and rebounding at 4.6 per game and is also second in total steals with 10 while averaging a team-high 37.8 minutes per game. He’s shooting 44.4 percent (12 for 27) on three-point shots. Anguelov is second on the team in scoring at 13.6 points per game and is shooting an impressive 53.6 percent (15 for 28) on three-point attempts. Diante Miles (freshman-Stockton basketball-WHS) has seen action in one game so far for the Ospreys. Stockton (4-1 overall, 0-1 NJAC), which entered the season ranked eighth in the country in Division III by d3hoops.com, is next in action Wednesday at home against Rutgers-Camden. …

Lindsay Holden (freshman-Neumann basketball-LCMR) has seen action off the bench in all six games so far this season for the Knights. She’s averaging 3.7 points per game. Neumann (2-4) is set to host Lancaster Bible on Wednesday. …

Kate Herlihy (sophomore-Rowan basketball-MTHS) has played in all five games so far for the Profs and is averaging 4.0 points per game off the bench. She’s also third on the team in total steals with seven. Herlihy had 10 points and five steals in a recent victory over Juniata. Rowan (3-2 overall, 1-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference) is next in action Wednesday at The College of New Jersey. …

Josh Wright (sophomore-Rowan basketball-CMTHS) scored 11 points off the bench to help the Profs to a 109-98 upset win at Stockton in their New Jersey Athletic Conference opener last week. Wright has played in all four of the team’s games so far this season and is averaging 6.8 points and 1.5 rebounds. Rowan (2-2 overall, 1-0 NJAC) next plays Wednesday at The College of New Jersey. …

Marianna Papazoglou (sophomore-Penn basketball-WCA) has played in one game, scoring three points, for the Quakers so far this season. She was unavailable for the team’s first four games due to injury. Penn (1-5) is next in action tonight at LaSalle. …

GABBY TURCO

Gabby Turco (junior-St. Anselm basketball-WCA) scored a game-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds to lead the Hawks to a 61-37 win over Pace in their most recent game. Turco currently leads Division II St. Anselm (2-3 overall, 1-2 Northeast 10 Conference) in scoring at 20.4 points per game through five games. She’s shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and 92 percent from the foul line. Turco also leads the team in total steals with six and is second on the team in rebounding at 7.4 per game and total assists with 15. St. Anselm is next in action Wednesday at St. Rose. …

Dawson Tallant (junior-Wilkes wrestling-MTHS) has won one of six matches so far this season while wrestling at 197 pounds. Wilkes is next in action this weekend at the Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Classic. …

Marcus Hebron (freshman-Jersey City University wrestling-LCMR) is 2-3 so far this season while wrestling at 197 pounds or heavyweight. His victory by fall helped clinch a second-place team finish at the Electric City Duals earlier this season. …

Kimmy Casiello (freshman-Widener basketball-WCA) is averaging 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds while playing in all six games for the Pride so far. Widener (2-4) plays its first MAC Commonwealth game of the season Wednesday at Alvernia. …

ROMEO RODRIGUEZ

Romeo Rodriguez (senior-Ursinus wrestling-MTHS) won by 17-2 technical fall at 141 pounds to help the Bears to a recent win over New Jersey City University. Ursinus is next in action this weekend at the York College New Standard Invitational. …

Shane Whitney (sophomore-Camden County College wrestling-LCMR) won five of six matches to place third at heavyweight at the 14-team Racich Rumble earlier this month.
