Jerome Licata of Middle Township High School is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Male Athlete of the Week.

A senior on the football team, Licata enjoyed one of the best seasons by a placekicker in program history. Licata missed just two of 22 total kicks all season, going 15 for 16 on extra-point tries and 6 for 7 on field-goal attempts. His longest field goal of the season was from 40 yards out.

Licata scored 33 kicking points for Middle and also had 13 tackles and an interception as a defensive player, helping the team to a 6-4 finish.
