CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week – Carly Murphy, WCA

Carly Murphy of Wildwood Catholic Academy is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.

The lone senior on the girls basketball team, Murphy is averaging a team-best 14.1 points per game for the Crusaders, who are unbeaten through their first seven games. Murphy is second on the team in rebounds at 5.3 per game and also leads the team in three-pointers made with 16 and in steals with 10.

Murphy recently announced that she will continue her playing career at Division III Swarthmore College.

Murphy was also a soccer standout at Wildwood Catholic, leading the Crusaders in goals with nine last fall.
