Lady Panthers battle in South Jersey Group III championship Monday

The Middle Township Lady Panthers host Cinnaminson in the South Jersey Group II championship Monday night. The Middle girls team has been led by Hannah Cappelletti, Mia Elisano, Jada Elston and McKenzie Pallek. The Lady Panthers, with a 22-8 season, have won three playoff games by an average margin of 46 points. Meanwhile Cinnaminson, with a 28-4 season, have won their last seven games. The winner goes to the state semifinal at Central Regional High School at 5 pm to meet the Central Jersey champion, either New Providence or Manasquan.
