Brandon Lashley tossed a three-hit shutout to lead the Ocean City High School baseball team to a 6-0 victory over Middle Township on Thursday. Lashley struck out eight and pitched a complete game for the Raiders (4-1), who won their second straight game by shutout. Earlier this week, Dan Nunan threw a complete game with 11 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Holy Spirit.
Middle Township fell to 2-3 with the loss.
Ocean City next plays Friday afternoon at Lower Cape May. Middle Township also in action Friday at Cedar Creek.
