Local youth lacrosse team goes unbeaten, wins league title

The Lower Township grades 5-6 boys lacrosse team recently capped an unbeaten season by winning the championship in the 11-team Jersey Shore Youth Lacrosse League. The Lower Township team won all 16 of its games this spring, including a 13-5 league playoff semifinal win over Upper Township and a 7-3 league championship game win over Absecon in a game played at Carey Stadium in Ocean City.
