Middle sweeps its way to title at round robin tournament

The Middle Township High School girls tennis team won all five positions to sweep its way to the championship at the Cape May Tennis Club’s round robin tournament. The Middle Township High School girls tennis team dominated the annual Cape May Tennis Club round robin tournament on Saturday.

Lady Panther players finished in first place in all five positions to win the team championship over Lower Cape May, Wildwood Catholic, Jenkintown (Pa.) and Neshaminy (Pa.).

Middle’s Lauren Ryan (first), Olivia Branch (second) and Maddie Deane (third) were the winners at the singles positions. Middle’s Sam Braun and Sofia Lomax (first) and Cattie Knoll and Abby Smith (second) were doubles winners.
