Matt Brook of Ocean City and Tyler Tomlin of Wildwood have each been selected to participate in the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association senior all-star game. The contest is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. at Rutgers-Camden University.
Brook, a four-year varsity player, scored seven goals and recorded nine assists this fall, helping the Raiders (15-5-1) win the Cape-Atlantic National Conference title as well as the inaugural CAL playoff tournament. For his career, the midfielder posted 34 goals and 19 assists.
Tomlin was the catalyst for a record-breaking season for Wildwood, which set a program best for victories while finishing 13-6. A four-year starter, Tomlin scored a Cape May County best and school record 31 goals while also dishing 10 assists this fall. He finished his career with a program record 57 goals to go with 29 assists.
